The house is across the road from the Waurn Ponds Campus with less than a minutes walk to the front gates of Deakin.

Student accommodation does not get any closer..... 26 Ficinia Mews is the CLOSEST student accomodation to Deakin University. If you are looking for the best student accommodation at Waurn Ponds without the expensive price...... THIS IS IT. The house has 8 large bedrooms with built in robes; FOUR large bathrooms; HUGE kitchen and common room.

It is divided up between 2 males at the front and 6 females at the rear.

Bedrooms: Large bedroom with Queen size bed with mattress protector, including built in robes, desk, chair, lamp and bookcase. Each bedroom shares the bathroom with only one other student with full security locks on all doors. Each room has a fixed high speed internet and television connection.

Bathrooms: Each bathroom is shared with only one other student. For example, if you are in the female quarters, you will only share your bathroom with one other female. In each bathroom there is a shower, toilet (lockable) and large vanity area with cupboard storage. The bathroom can be locked from the other room as well.

Kitchen: Fully provided kitchen including two large cooktops with wok burners, an oven, two sinks, two huge fridges and enormous pantry area with loads of cupboards. Cooking utensils and some cookbooks supplied.

Laundry: A large laundry provides two large washing machines and a dryer, with enormous storeage space. There is also a powder room available for guests.

Dining and Entertainment: There is a large extendable 8 person dining table with chairs and an entertainment area featuring two large sofas with a flat screen TV.

Powder Room: A powder room is provided for guests who need the bathroom. This security measure makes sure that guests do not have access to an individual’s bedroom and bathroom.

Outside Entertainment: There is a paved backyard. The garden area around the whole house is fully landscaped and completely maintenance free.

All bills are included..... Water, gas, electricity, internet, gardening and cleaning FORTNIGHTLY. Most other student accomodations clean monthly.
