We are looking to rent out two rooms in our home. One large room downstairs with BIR and just around the corner from downstairs bathroom which will essentially be your own apart from household members using the toilet. The upstairs room also has the possibility of renting the office space next to it. Room only $250 with office $300 - Shared large bathroom upstairs. Owner is Deakin staff member working off campus occupying the master bedroom and their son (23) who has his own lounge room upstairs. We have two cats and a small dog so no pets. Beautiful large tranquil garden with water feature, fruit trees, vegetable garden and large kitchen/pantry. Spare fridge/freezer in garage for food. On street parking only as we have several cars. Near to public transport less than 5 minutes walk. Deakin bus comes through the Mt Duneed estate or less than 15 minutes driving time to campus. We are a fairly quiet family but do enjoy a good laugh and having friends over. Not really party people. If you want a lovely quiet home environment to stay in while studying at Deakin then this would be a good place to start.
