The Off-Campus Housing Service offers assistance to all Deakin students wanting to organise accommodation.

In addition to this database the service has Housing Officers available at each Campus to assist students with their housing needs. Register for support now!

The University recommends that you make arrangement to stay in temporary accommodation for the first week to two weeks in order to find a suitable longer term accommodation option.

* Never give money to a landlord when you haven't personally seen the property
* Do not pay deposits or send money before you have personally seen the room
* Never pay money through a funds transfer to someone you don't know
* Don't trust emails that say pay money and I will have the keys delivered to you
